The National Diabetes Prevention Program provides tools, social support, education and motivation to help you change your life if you are at risk for developing type 2 diabetes. This lifestyle change program has resulted significant weight loss, improved quality of life and lowered glucose levels for past participants. It runs from 5 to 6 pm Thursdays, starting March 14, 2019, at East Hill Family Medical.
This is a 26-session workshop that begins with 16 weekly sessions, and then it shifts to meeting once or twice a month for the remaining 10 sessions, for a total of a year commitment. Space is limited, and the past two sessions have filled up with a waiting list, so don’t delay in reaching out.
