Cayuga Community Health Network: A Rural Health Network
The Cayuga Community Health Network is a 501c3 not for profit organization that receives funding from The New York State Rural Health Network Development Grant to help our rural communities in Cayuga County strengthen their health care systems. The Network supports rural providers who work together in formal networks, alliances, coalitions, or partnerships to integrate administrative, clinical, financial, and technological functions across their organizations. This integration of functions and services helps to overcome the fragmentation of health care services in rural areas, improves coordination of those services, and achieves economies of scale. This program does not support direct patient care services.

The mission of the Cayuga Community Health Network is to build a healthier Cayuga County by improving access to quality health care services, improving the efficiency of health services, and promoting healthy lifestyles. We do this by proactive and collaborative planning activities and projects involving local health care providers and consumers.
