Irving T. Lyons
Irving T. Lyons has been the Executive Director of the Cayuga Community Health Network since March 2009. His experience envelops a diverse background of Health & Human services, Marketing and sales, special events, and diversity consulting. Mr. Lyons is the Former Executive Director of the Native American Service Agency in Syracuse, NY, has worked as a special events and diversity consultant for Onondaga Community College, is the former Director of Hotel Sales and Marketing at Jefferson Clinton Hotel, Armory Square and is the current owner of HAWK Productions for special events and consulting services.
Mr. Lyons is a graduate of the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI) of Cocoa Beach, Florida and the Powell-Reese Facilitators Course, Washington, D.C. — Email
Executive Assistant
Suzanne H. Hai
Suzanne Hai joined the CCHN staff in 2004. She is Executive Assistant to the Executive Director performing a multifunctional role of Personal Assistant/Project Coordinator, Fiscal Administrator and Board Liaison. In addition to this role, she is coordinator of a Diabetes Education Program for the community, executing self-management programs for individuals/families diagnosed or at risk for diabetes. Suzanne is co-founder and currently implements a Diabetes Support Group for Cayuga County.
Ms. Hai is a member Cayuga/Seneca Community Action Agency Advisory Board and serves on the Board of the Auburn Beautification Commission. Ms. Hai is an active member in numerous community coalitions: Cayuga County Cancer Services Program, Tobacco Free Partnership, PITCH, Healthy Communities, Community Gardens, Adult & Community Task Group and many others.
An Auburn native and graduate of the State University of New York College at Buffalo, Ms. Hai earned her BA in Fashion Merchandising and is a recent Alumnus of Leadership Cayuga, Class of 2008. — Email
Tobacco Free Program Coordinator
Deborah Mendzef
Deb joined the Cayuga Community Health Network in June 2010 as the new Tobacco Free Program Coordinator. She has a BS in Athletic Training and a MS in Exercise and Wellness Promotion. She was formerly at Wells College, where she was the Head Athletic Trainer and created and implemented the wellness programming for the college. — Email
